A large variety of different types of housing constructions have been identified from two basic types, with one or two floors. All of them are situated in an east-west direction, which are gradually set back in order to adapt to the geometry of the land plot and to resolve the significant ground level variations with successive height graduations.
A peculiar design of parallel walls exists which provides for different out door zones. The openings provide for a direct in-door out-door flow between the house and its garden.
However the most important characteristic of the space is undoubtedly the vaulted ceilings.
