Concept
The exhibition space is celebratory, a goblet open to the sky, searching for the light; like Jacob's dream, a ladder to heaven. We have created a large, raised square, looking out over the sea, and the building as a spiral walkway that ascends from the port below and takes us up to the park above, creating a play on different levels that opens up the building to the surrounding environment, attracting it like a gigantic magnet.
